A World Cup is a match between two teams from different countries. All teams will compete and show their team strength to the world. Here is the list of World Cups around the world.
What is a World Cup?
A World Cup is a tournament of competition between two teams from all over the world. Every country will have its best team members. So every four years, all these teams from several countries will meet together and compete against each other. Every country will take this World Cup as an opportunity to build connections with other countries and improve their economic conditions. Not only that, it is a chance to unite all countries together.
Why is it conducted every four years?
As we know, all the World Cups happen every four years at once. The reason behind it is here. The four-year gap between World Cup tournaments needs to allow for the completion of qualification matches. Because it is the world’s largest event, it cannot be held annually. Because the selection process includes more qualification matches, the World Cup cannot be held in one or two years.
Aside from that, many test matches, one-day matches, qualification matches, and so on have occurred over these three years. The World Cup tournament will feature only qualified teams. Many new teams and members will participate in the final tournaments.

What sports have World Cup matches?
The World Championship is the most popular game. Next to it is the World Cup. The simple difference between a World Championship and a World Cup is that the championship is given to a single person, while the World Cup is given to the whole team.
Other than the championship games, only a few games are considered to be qualified for the World Cup. World Cups worldwide include athletics, baseball and softball, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, and volleyball.
